Richard III

Hooray for tyrants!!
The premature death of Edward IV led to a national crisis in which Richard emerged as king. With the benefit of hindsight historians generally have interpreted the fateful events of 1483 in the light of Richard being a calculating usurper.
Yep, yep, we know the story.   Between usurping power and winters of discontent, Richard is *the* villain.  - They're trying to reassess him and make him less evil, but.. what fun is that?

The play - !!!

The History - by Thomas More - 1513, which means the spelling.. tis funkay.
